El Saler was high on my list. Everywhere I went in Spain, people said El Saler was a must-play. It’s the pride of Spain. The architect, Javier Arana, should have been world-famous. For some reason, he never designed courses outside Spain.
El Saler is considered one of the 100 best golf courses in the world. And that’s for a public course. The course was designed by Spanish architect Javier Arana and opened in 1968.
