About golf Meaztegi

One of the few public courses in the area. A wonderful course to play and inexpensive. Besides the 18-hole course, there’s also a 9-hole pitch and put course, though I didn’t play it. The driving range looked good from a distance, but I didn’t venture out. It was coffee and a break. Meaztegi is spacious, without houses or real estate development, which is quite a feat in this commercially driven world. The course is open, with some trees and a slight undulation. The funny thing is, it looks hillier than it plays and is very walkable. The greens aren’t super fast, but they are fair. Designed by Severiano Ballesteros, it measures 6,200 meters from the back tees.
