About Izki Golf

Izki Golf is a must-see course, but not so obvious. The nearest town, Victoria Gasteiz, is a good 45-minute drive away.
It all started with potatoes. Small farmers owned a plot of land here. A disease struck the potatoes, and the land would be unusable for years, the farmers asked themselves, “What if we turned it into a golf course?” They approached the provincial government with this plan, and they were eager to help the farmers this way. Severiano Ballesteros designed the course. And he delivered a superb one. European-level tournaments are regularly held there.
