About Real golf de Cerdanya

Golf Cerdanya is situated in a valley at an altitude of 1,000 meters above sea level. The seasons play a significant role, unlike in the southern parts of Spain. It resembles Northern Europe more than the Spain most people know. From May to October, the course is in perfect condition. In winter, they use winter greens.
The course is characterized by gently undulating fairways through the forests of the Puigcerda, as the region is known. All around you have magnificent mountain views.
Arana originally built the course from scratch. He consulted with his mentor Tom Simpson, on various design aspects. The first nine opened in 1942. Land acquisitions made it possible to complete the expansion. Today, there are 27 holes. The back nine, built in 2001, was designed by golf architect Alfonso Vidaor.
