About Golf de Llanes

You won’t find better value for money anywhere else in the world. We’re talking about Golf Municipal de Llanes in Asturias. And before I talk about the price, let me discuss the golf course and the town. The course is situated on a plateau about a hundred meters above sea level. It’s an 18-hole course. From white, it measures 6,328 meters. The wind plays freely here; there are only a few trees, a true links course. Holes 3 and 4 are par fours of 411 and 409 meters long, respectively. You usually have the wind behind them, so that’s manageable. The par threes are the most difficult; you can’t afford to make big mistakes. Several shots to the greens are high-risk. For this price, you don’t expect top-notch fairways and greens. Nevertheless, the fairways are fine, the greens even excellent. There are no buildings. The clubhouse is simple but nothing to complain about. Then there’s the view: phenomenal. For almost the entire course you look out over the ocean on one side and the Sierra del Cuera mountain range on the other.
