About the event
Golf Gaudi, located between Reus and Salau, has had several names, but since the takeover a year ago, it has been renamed Golf Gaudi. It’s all very friendly here, and the green fees are very affordable. We had the opportunity to play with Bolivian caddy master Pablo, who has tour ambitions. I asked him how you become a tour pro.
What a pleasant surprise this course is. It’s had a new owner and a new greenkeeper for a year now, and the results are visible. They had just pricked and sanded the fairways when I visited. But then you know it’ll be alright. The course starts as a flat, open course. But from the back nine, there are small, attractive elevation changes and varied vegetation. It’s not particularly long, measuring 5779 from the back tees. more stories in the book
